Anya Joy Miller

Anya is here! She was born Saturday, August 29, 2009 at 4:26 PM. She weighed 7 lb and 13 oz and is 21 inches long. We love her dearly and she is doing very well. We are all back home now and enjoying it thoroughly!

Ready to go! Look at that big belly!

Brand new:)

Just a few minutes old:)

boy's room

The boy's room is now finished, so I thought I would post some pictures of that too. It turned out well.
We are all doing well. Tests at the hospital yesterday showed that the baby is definitely a girl and that all is going well. Just waiting now:)

Nursery

Our nursery is now finished. The baby can come now (any day now please:). We are satisfied with how it all turned out. Now we are working on our room. We will get done what we get done.

This is the bed skirt I made. I like it.

Our happy sunflowers that are GIGANTIC!!!

corn

Last Thursday Becky came down and we did corn. It all worked out very well and we had fun. The boys "helped". I got 20 quart bags from 6 dozen ears of corn. I have a bunch left over from last year too.

At the lake

Yesterday we spent the day at the lake with Jeremiah's family to celebrate Ginny's birthday. It was a lovely day to be out there. The boys got to swim and we all got to relax.

"self!" ~interpretation: let me do it myself!

"Hans, what are those little purple rivulets on your belly?"
(Ethan immediately drops some on his belly and contorts his stomach so it flows towards his belly button. Please tell me girls don't do this.)

Frogs!

Elizabeth and Mom got Ethan some little frogs for his birthday. They are in a complete eco-system that needs very little maintenance, which makes an excellent pet for us right now:) The boys love them, particularly Hans. Here his looking at them:)

Baby shower

Sunday afternoon Ginny, Earon, Becky and Bethany had a baby shower for us. It was very nice and a huge thanks to each of them for all that they did. Now I feel ready to bring a baby girl home!! We have pink stuff!
