This was preluded by Ethan carefully dressing her in her costume and then giving her instructions as to what she was to do. I came into the porch to see her diligently and obediently whacking the screen door!! Keeps it interesting:)

Explanation for following pictures. The Hamm side of Jeremiah's family has an annual kick ball game/reunion and each year it has a different theme. This years theme was 80's Prom or The Royal Wedding, hence the costumes:)

Last week we went to visit my family and we all went down the beach for a couple of days. It was such a wonderful vacation!! I love the beach:)

Jourdan and Elizabeth were swarmed by gulls when they walked across the boardwalk with their fries. Must be the gulls know how good they are too;)

Work on the kitchen continues. Last weekend I painted the back splash yellow and I like it better than the white. I also started painting the trim. As the blue tape attests, I am not quite finished yet:) I want to try to finish that this week. We shall see.

Here is the latest from the kitchen. Jeremiah got a good bit of the trim done on Saturday. It looks like it has leprosy because he put the wood putty on and didn't get to sand or paint it yet. It all looks so much nicer anyway though.

Ethan's a 1st grader!

Ethan graduated from kindergarten yesterday. Everything went well and he did good. It is nice to be done with school for a while!
